Siphr (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you.
01 Who we are
Siphr Knowledge Pty Ltd (ABN 68 686 716 932) builds custom software for organisations in professional services, healthcare and financial services. We are based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. For any privacy questions, contact us at projects@siphr.com.au.
02 Information we collect
We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our functions and activities. This may include:
- Contact details you provide — name, email address, company, phone number, and the content of enquiries you send us through our contact form or by email.
- Engagement information — information shared with us during a project or proposal, which may include details about your organisation's operations.
- Technical data — when you visit our website, limited data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring source, collected through cookies and analytics.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive information through our website. Where a project requires handling sensitive or health information, this is governed by a separate written agreement.
03 How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request;
- scope, deliver, support and improve our software and engagements;
- communicate with you about your project or our services;
- operate, secure and improve our website; and
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
04 Disclosure of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example, hosting, email and analytics providers), bound by confidentiality obligations, and where required or authorised by law.
05 Cookies & analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We use Google Analytics (GA4) for aggregate, de-identified usage statistics, configured with IP anonymisation and without advertising or cross-site features. We honour browser “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals — when either is enabled, analytics does not run. We also use privacy-friendly performance monitoring (Vercel Speed Insights) to measure page-loading speed; it uses no cookies and collects no personal information.
To understand how visitors use our pages, we use Microsoft Clarity, which captures anonymised, aggregated recordings of interactions such as mouse movements, clicks and scrolling. Clarity masks text you enter into forms and does not capture the content of your enquiry. This helps us improve the site’s usability. Clarity is also disabled when you have “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control enabled. For more information, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
If you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we also record how you reached the site (such as the referring source or campaign link and the pages you viewed) so we can understand which of our content is useful. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some functionality.
06 Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
07 Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
08 Accessing & correcting your information
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or out of date. Contact us at projects@siphr.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time.
09 Complaints
If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact us first so we can address your concern. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the “last updated” date revised accordingly.
