The thinking behind the work.

Papers, talks and writing from our applied research — agentic AI, smart contracts and how we model organisations. Much of this comes out of our work with research labs and academic partners.

Boilerplate

Siphr builds custom software for Australian organisations in professional services, healthcare and financial services. Rather than fitting a firm into a generic platform, Siphr builds a formal model of how that organisation actually works — the clients, work, people, time and rules it deals in — and engineers the software directly from that model. The approach is called The Operating Model, and it runs in four layers: the Ontology (the model itself), the Construct (the system built from it), the Shell (the interface people work in) and the Seer (the analytical and agentic layer). Siphr works with small and mid-sized firms that have outgrown off-the-shelf tools but do not want the cost or risk of a large enterprise build, and pairs delivery with applied research into agentic AI, smart contracts and knowledge modelling.

Topics we can comment on

We are happy to speak on the record about how mid-sized professional firms outgrow off-the-shelf software; what operating-model and ontology-driven design means in practice; where agentic AI is genuinely dependable inside regulated businesses and where it is not yet; and how applied research moves from a lab result into production software responsibly.
